Each building has characteristics that improve with every building upgrade, and which in turn enhance building design and optimize the military and economic characteristics of the base. By constructing new buildings and modernizing the ones you already have, you increase your Dominance and unlock additional functions. Building construction and upgrades can be performed for resources or Technology Points.
