Items for relocation

A Jarl's Town can be relocated to:

  • Any available point on the Global Map (by using the Relocation, Random Relocation, and Novice's Relocation items, as a result of the Supreme Thing's actions in an enemy Clan's Stronghold, or in the event of a failed Town defense in the Millennial Forest)
  • Another Kingdom (by using the Novice's Relocation, Drakkar, Great Relocation, and Return items)
  • The icy world of Jotunheim and back to your home Kingdom (by using the Guide to Jotunheim and Guide to Midgard items)

Relocation — this item allows you to relocate your Town to any place on the Global Map (except for territory occupied by other Towns, locations, and water). You can get it in the Item Store for Gold, in the Clan Store for Loyalty Points, as part of Bank offers, and as a reward for entering the game daily. In addition, you have a chance to obtain this item by attacking Uber Invaders.

To relocate your Town, open the Global Map, select an unoccupied location and hit the "Apply" button in the window that opens.

Random Relocation is an item that relocates your Town to a random point on the Global Map. You can purchase it in the Item Store for Gold, in the Clan Store for Loyalty Points, or as part of Bank offers.

Please note that your Town can be relocated to a random point on the Global Map due to the following two reasons:

  • If it was successfully attacked while being located in the Millennial Forest
  • If you were exiled from another Clan's territory by the decision of the Supreme Thing in the enemy Stronghold

During any random relocation, a Town cannot be placed in another Clan's Valley of the Aesir.

In enemy Kingdoms and Jotunheim, you can also use the Relocation and Random Relocation items and relocate your Town within the Global Map.

Great Relocation — use this item to relocate your Town to another Kingdom during a global Competition. To do that, you need to be a Clan member. The Return item allows you to return from the enemy Kingdom to your home Kingdom before the Competition ends.

You can purchase the Great Relocation and Return items in the Item Store for Gold, in the Clan Store for Loyalty Points, or in the location information window in the enemy Kingdom. Also, Jarls who are Clan members can get both items for free in the global Competition's block in the Events window.

Jarls who are Clan members can relocate to enemy Kingdoms an unlimited number of times as long as the Competition is active and they have the Great Relocation item at their disposal.

To go to another Kingdom, you need to proceed to the Global Map of this Kingdom, select an unoccupied location, and use the Great Relocation item.

Please note: if there are less than 5 minutes left until the Competition ends, you won't be able to relocate your Town.

After you go to enemy territory, a Town's Echo — a special object that prevents other Jarls from occupying your land — will remain in your Town's place in your home Kingdom. Your Town will return to its previous place after the Competition ends or when you use the Return item.

Guide to Jotunheim is an item that allows Jarls who are Clan members to relocate to Jotunheim during the legendary Battle for the Throne Competition. The Guide to Midgard item allows you to return to your home Kingdom from the icy world before the Competition ends. To relocate to Jotunheim, your Palace must be level 21 or higher.

You can purchase the Guide to Jotunheim and Guide to Midgard in the Item Store for Gold, in the Clan Store for Loyalty Points, as part of Bank offers, or in the location information window in Jotunheim. Jarls who are Clan members can also receive both items for free in the legendary Competition's block in the Events window.

You can go to Jotunheim by using:

  • The Jotunheim button in the game Menu
  • The icon of the active legendary Battle for the Throne Competition on the Global Map
  • The Jotunheim icon on the Kingdoms Map
  • The "Go to" button in the Battle for the Throne Competition block (in the Events window, Competitions tab).

After opening Jotunheim, select an available place and use the Guide to Jotunheim item. Please note: if there are less than 5 minutes left until the Competition ends, you won't be able to relocate your Town.

The conditions for applying the Guide to Jotunheim and the Guide to Midgard are similar to those for using the Great Relocation and Return items during global Competitions.

After you go to Jotunheim, a Town's Echo — a special object that prevents other Jarls from occupying your land — will remain in your Town's place in your home Kingdom. Your Town will return to its previous place after the Battle for the Throne ends, when you use the Guide to Midgard item, or after being idle for 8 hours in Jotunheim.

Novice's Relocation — use this item to relocate your Town once to any available place on the Global Map or to move to another Kingdom that will become home for you. Please note: Novice's Relocation will become unavailable when you upgrade the Palace to level 6, or 14 days after you start the game, whichever happens first.

Every Jarl receives this item as a gift at the beginning of the game and it cannot be obtained in any other way. Novice's Relocation is in the Bonuses section, My Items tab.

To relocate your Town, open the Global Map, select an unoccupied location, and hit the "Apply" button in the window that appears. You can permanently move to another Kingdom in a similar way — to do that, first proceed to the Kingdoms Map and select the desired Kingdom.

Important: the Novice's Relocation item can be used for a permanent move only when you are in your home Kingdom.

A Drakkar is an item necessary to permanently move to another Kingdom that will become your home. Drakkars are available to use from Palace level 21. You can purchase them as part of Bank offers.

To permanently move to another Kingdom, the following conditions must be met:

  • The selected Kingdom was created more than 100 days ago and has unoccupied places
  • Your account was created more than two months ago
  • Your Palace is level 21 or higher
  • You have no more than 300M of each resource stored in your Town
  • You are not a Clan member
  • You don't have any active marches or troops in garrisons
  • More than 30 days have passed since you last used the Drakkar item

The number of Drakkars required for moving depends on the place you will take in the Influence ranking of the selected Kingdom. The higher your position, the more items you'll need.

Use Drakkars wisely: the permanent move function will only become available again 30 days after it was last used.

Please note:

The Info tab in the Palace tells you whether you can permanently move to another Kingdom (by using the Novice's Relocation item for a Town with a Palace below level 6, or by using the Drakkar item for a Town with a Palace at level 21 or higher).

  • Jarls who permanently moved to your Kingdom during a global Competition are marked with green.
  • Jarls who permanently moved to another Kingdom after a global Competition was announced no longer participate in it. The points they earned before moving are saved in the statistics of their previous Kingdom and Clan. Attacking these Jarls won't earn points for Competition participants.
  • Jarls who moved to another Kingdom during a Competition by using the Novice's Relocation or Drakkar items don't return automatically when the Competition is over.
  • Moving to another Kingdom is not possible if you are a Clan member or your warriors are on a march, busy yielding resources in a resource location, or are in a reinforcement troop.

Any items for relocation you currently have are displayed in the Bonuses section, My Items tab. You cannot apply them from the Item Store or the My Items tab.
