You can save several Profiles with various sets of Skills and equipment that will give you the most suitable bonuses depending on the situation. Use the Profiles you create for attacking, defending, resource yielding, attacking Assailants, and so on.

Switch between Profiles in order to get the Hero’s Skills and equipment bonuses you need at any given moment.
